Omschrijving

The humans are gone, but the cat doesn’t seem to mind. The house with the cozy bed is still there, and the river is full of fish. That is, until the water suddenly starts to rise—and fast. The cat narrowly escapes thanks to a passing sailboat. A capybara, a dog, a lemur, and a bird soon join her. Together, they form an unlikely group that must learn to survive in this overwhelming new world.

De mensen zijn verdwenen, maar dat lijkt de kat niet te deren. Het huis met het lekkere bed staat er nog en de rivier zit vol vis. Tot het water ineens begint te stijgen en ontzettend snel ook. Ternauwernood weet de kat zich te redden dankzij een passerend zeilbootje. Een capibara, een hond, een maki en een vogel sluiten zich aan. Samen vormen ze een onwaarschijnlijk gezelschap dat moet leren overleven in deze overweldigende nieuwe wereld.
