Omschrijving

Based on the memoirs of Marcelo Rubens Paiva, I’m Still Here tells the true story of the disappearance of his father, former congressman Rubens Paiva, during the Brazilian military dictatorship in the 1970s. The lives of Rubens Paiva’s wife Eunice (Fernanda Torres) and their five children are abruptly and permanently changed after his disappearance. Eunice is arrested and pressured by the regime to betray her friends and family. When she is released 12 days later, she dedicates herself to opposing the corrupt regime and fighting for the rights of thousands of disappeared, innocent citizens and their families.
