Love-22-Love is an ode to love, art, and darkness. For filmmaker Jeroen Kooijmans, art is both a lifeline and a source of profound despair. Through raw personal archive, he reconstructs the years leading up to and following a psychosis, offering an intimate journey into the darker corners of his psyche. At its heart, Love-22-Love is a declaration of love to his wife, artist Elspeth Diederix, his anchor and the light at the end of his tunnel. Spanning 33 years, the film explores how love and art can sustain, transform, and ultimately heal a life.
