Omschrijving

Sentimental Value is the new film from Joachim Trier, once again starring Renate Reinsve in the lead role. The film follows actress Nora (Reinsve) and her sister Agnes, who recently lost their mother. When their estranged father, the successful filmmaker Gustav, makes contact again with a film script, he offers Nora the leading role. This is a first step in his attempt to rebuild the bond between father and daughters.

Sentimental Value is de nieuwe film van Joachim Trier, opnieuw met Renate Reinsve in de hoofdrol. De film volgt actrice Nora (Reinsve) en haar zus Agnes, die onlangs hun moeder verloren. Als hun vervreemde vader, de succesvolle filmmaker Gustav, weer contact opneemt met een filmscript, biedt hij Nora de hoofdrol aan. Dit is een eerste stap in de poging om de band tussen vader en dochters opnieuw op te bouwen.
